Candle Mats

​Candle mats are a beautiful way to bring visual attention to your fragrant candles. I design most of my candle mats from fabric scraps leftover from other projects. I do my best to coordinate the colors with scraps of recycled wool to add whimsical designs to my pieces. A bit of embroidery here and there, in addition to some buttons, lace pieces, olde doilies, ribbons and trims, stained cheesecloth, etc. add the "unexpected" character to my designs.
